We are pleased to announce that a research paper co-authored by Dr. Hirofumi Taki, CEO of MaRI Co., Ltd., titled “Feature-Based Correlation and Topological Similarity for Interbeat Interval Estimation Using Ultrawideband Radar” (IEEE, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, April 2016) written by the first author, Dr. Takuya Sakamoto (Associate Professor, Kyoto University Graduate School of Engineering) received the 37th Telecommunications Advancement Foundation Telecom System Technology Award from the Telecommunications Advancement Foundation.
